Is it an impression, a vague connotation, or a real connection? I couldn't say. This creation immediately reminded me of Cézanne, or rather, of the color palette and "brushstrokes" in some of this Impressionist painter's still lifes.
Like the recomposition of an intuitive yet concrete reality, the almost solid, globular elements and the masses of varied colors seem to seek to recombine according to an esoteric logic that is difficult to grasp. An Impressionist presence within an abstract construction—hence the name!
